Topside removals
We use optimized decommissioning methods to remove topsides safely, efficiently, and to fully utilize the lifting capacity of our vessels.
Offshore decommissioning projects need predictable results, which is why we examine all project aspects in our onshore Simulation Center.
Jacket removals
Heerema holds the world record for the largest single lift jacket removal following the successful removal of the 10,100 metric ton Brent Alpha jacket in 2020.
But, we're not just here for the record-breakers. We bring knowledge on diamond wire cutting tools, removing and transporting conductors within the jacket, custom-designed spreader bars, subsea skirt pile cutting, and everything else associated with thirty years of removing jackets!
Safely removed, now what's next?
The journey doesn't end at removal, we manage the entire disposal scope, and ensure that the project is finalized in line with regulatory requirements. We are proud to say that 98% of structures are safely repurposed or recycled.
