Welder

You are responsible for welding activities on projects such as the new construction of offshore structures.

Responsibilities

You can independently perform high-standard welding work with carbon steel. (e.g. S235 - S460) with wall thicknesses varying from 3 to 130 mm);
Welding processes FCAW(138) and FCAW(136) for both full penetration welds as well as fillet welds;
Welding in various positions and according to project-specific procedures (‘WPS’);
Extensive experience in gouging;
Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

Education and experience

MBO 1-2 level, supported with function-specific courses;
At least five years of experience as a welder;
Valid welding certificates conform EN-ISO 9606-1 (and optional EN-287-1 and AWS D1.1);
Valid Basic Safety VCA;
Willingness to work in shifts (and overtime if necessary);
Good command of Dutch and/or English language.
