Finance Manager

Responsibilities

Conduct budgeting, forecasting and financial analyses to assess and plan company performance;
Manage the Finance and IT teams and guide them in their daily tasks and professional development;
Strong focus on cost control and identifying areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving measures;
Manage CAPEX, OPEX, tender and project budgets and cash flow accross the company's yards.
Ensure timely, compliant delivery of all internal and external financial reports to support decision-making;
Use financial and non-financial KPIs to evaluate operational performance and advise on improvements;
Prepare business cases and recommend strategies to enhance financial performance and cost efficiency;
Drive the implementation of the CSRD requirements in our reporting system in cooperation with our sister company Heerema Marine Contractors and ensure reporting compliance;
Define IT roadmap in consultation with the knowledge centers of the Heerema Group;
Support the implementation of IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support the HFG infrastructure;
Realize performance/improvements/change of operations, processes, policies and systems.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field;
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial financial position, preferably in a project oriented production environment;

You will work at the yard of Heerema Vlissingen in Nieuwdorp.
