Structural Engineering

HES was involved in the jacket removal of the Brent Alpha platform. The scope consisted of the design of temporary platform to accommodate removal equipment, the design of a roof to protect against falling objects, lifting analyses and the design of a jacket reinforcement system to safeguard the structural integrity of the split jacket during lifting.

The involved engineer was invited to go offshore during the execution on board of the Sleipnir.
